In this Studio Brief - Reflective Practice - Speaking From Experience. Is to produce a graphic product/piece of work that makes a statement, comment, observation or gives advice about your experience on your first year of this course.

Work with any appropriate media or format and develop and identify the content will be entertaining, advisory or informative.

I need to think about the new experiences that I have explored, the difficulties that I have overcome and new people you have met and the life skills you have acquired this year.

Things to consider: Remember what it was like starting your first week, how did you feel and what emotions did you experience? Excitement, trepidation, fear or did you feel overwhelmed. You might have benefited from some advice, opinions and insight from others that have experienced the same transition.

For a starting point, use a blank brief template to define your own aims, outcomes and processes. Take advantages of the processes and facilities you have been introduced to throughout level 4. The content of you final resolution should be appropriate to level 4
freshers but also show case the facilities and resources available.Enjoy the process of reviewing your year and ongoing documentation on your blog.

Publication Layout - Leah For the inside of the 'Our Generation' publication, the collaborator Leah was in charge of this brief's outcome segment. The publication's layout was constructed with 'Adobe Indesign' Leah made guide lines and measurements to help assist where the Photographs and the text should be placed. Illustrations of a paint brush stroke was experimented to give the pages more characteristics. We mutually agreed to make the size of the publication A5 format, and the number of pages are 16. Previously it was going to be 17, however one participant was unable to provided us with their childhood photo for us. Due to this situation Leah had to be more selective with the photos and information (Quotes) that we believe was significant for outlining our briefs context. Final Design Below are the final designs of both the logo, shop sign mock up, business card mock-ups and product examples. These choices are made by the clients. Everything was delivered on time. Katie always communicated very well. We were both impressed with how she incorporated the feedback we gave into her designs, s he always consciously and aware of what we wanted overall, sent many new variations of the logo designs, always referred back to feedback and messaged us for specific information (e.g. Business card enquires) and she was able to explained her designs to us and how it would be much better (i.e. change of the colour scheme).
