In this blog, it demonstrates me printing out the different shapes to see if it was possible for me to do this type of shape and size for my Horoscope book.
The star shape book, was quite difficult to bind the techniques that I suggested previously, as well as their wasn’t enough space for both information and images. The cloud shape
book has a good enough space for both images and information to go on. However, I think its a bit difficult for me to get that perfect curve shape especially on the cloud shape to cut out. So overall, I believe going with the classical book shape (rectangular/square) would be
easier for me to create and produce. Especially when I want to put a cover on it to give it more of a professional finish.
From experimenting binding techniques with normal cartridge paper, I believe either the Accordion or the Saddle-stitch would be the most suitable as they are both easy to create
and produce of this type of genre content.
