In this blog, it indicates my experimentation with the acrylic bubble effect to make a mystical, yet galaxy colour theme. These where not very effective on black paper and acetate sheets as it was either too dark for the acrylic colours to be shown or lost
its colour on the acetate. In the end, I painted them on normal cream/white card and it work very effectively plus giving the pages a more individual unique style based on their planet ruler colour and a more of a spacey appearance. I also experimented with the metallic gold colour with this bubble effect, it work really well with the other washed out spacey colours. Again an inspiration from the book that I previous student did for a brief and Andrew Bannecker night sky colour scheme.
There are images on this design board which shows these tests. Overall, it was quite successful as it turned out very well the colours which I had hope for I believe I will use the
cream/white cards with the bubble effect as they look very galaxy. Especially with the combination of glitter spray paint acetate sheets put on top of them.
