Secondary development designs - with colour schemes
Feedback
More design work
Below are the secondary book cover designs. Only focusing on two vectors design which is the comic inspired pinky promise concept and the general noughts and crosses games. In these designs other vectors from previous development will be added on. Such as the mini noughts and crosses to make a border for the book cover, the heart vector to symbolise the forbidden love with this dystopian storyline, more plasters along the arm to demonstrate the hardships of segregation in the book.

Feedback
- Majority of peers and tutors prefer the top and middle design.
- Colour scheme is good - needs more experimentation.
- Definitely the middle one reminds me of a comic book.
- The last one is slight pixelated but maybe it's because of a smaller scale.
- The colour red has connotations of murder, killing and see graphical - maybe a different background for a dystopian genre.
- Pinky promise is a good concept - promising to get out of a dystopian world.
- Plasters representing the O's and X's is a clever concept.
- The top one have the lines like the noughts and crosses game - used this in the other designs!
- I think the middle pinky promise design is better than the last one - keep with that one. No need for more than one!
- Selection of typefaces works well with the book covers.
- Very similar to the Penguin examples online
By considering and referring back to the feedback from crit group, following their advise to help to improve the first development of the book covers.

Secondary Feedback
- Majority of the positive feedback preferred the first design than the second one.
- The second design looked to crowded with the plasters on the two arms.
- Colour scheme was highly praised.
- The Eurostile was the most popular typeface.
